C-section is not as bad as I heard from words of mouth ... Leza Rosle

Elaiza means precious and Aatiyyah means gift. Elaiza Aatiyyah is our rainbow baby. Precious gift from God to us. I was diagnosed with right tubular ectopic on 12 March 2014, had an emergency salpingectomy as I was bleeding internally. Losing a child is never a pleasant experience but I am grateful I have hubs who supports me mentally and physically.

Mark was too comfy in my tummy and he was overdue by a week ... Meiyan

Ever since I was pregnant with Mark, my instincts have been quite accurate. I dreamt of his gender and his name when I was 2 months pregnant with him. Therefore I trusted my instincts that I may give birth to him earlier too. I took 3 weeks of leave before my due date and in the end, Mark was too comfy in my tummy and he was overdue by a week.

    I could hear the nurses count 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 ... 10 and repeat the counting process ... Sharon Yuan

Jarryl Liao is both our best birthday present my hubby and I could ever wish for! We have planned a baby for 5 years. Thinking of having In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) as our last straw. Our gynae also told us to be patient and I took the vitamins and folic acid she prescribed. We didn't wait for too long before the good news came in three months later when I got pregnant. This was indeed a wonderful news for our immediate family.

Although I had a difficult labour at the end of the day, my bundle of joy was finally born ... Jennie Lim

My EDD was said to be on 3 May 2015, however my obstetrician think that I will go beyond my EDD, therefore, arrange for me to be induced on the 7 May 2015. Until she's back from her leave in the meantime a replacement doctor was arranged for me on standby in case I gave birth when she still on leave. On the night of 4 May 2015 around 9 pm, the contractions started. As usual, I thought it was just false contractions similar to what I had previously felt for the past 1 week.

We're grateful for being able to see the foetus heartbeats this time ... Loh Chiew Lian

I had my first son when I was 23 years old. It was tough because of a condition called threatened miscarriage and my job required long hours of walking and standing. Admissions, bed rest, injections, CTG, and so on becomes part of my pregnancy routine. However, I had a fast labour and smooth delivery that makes me not fearing about giving birth. The decision of getting a sibling for my eldest son came when he was turning 2 years old. After a few months of trying, I'm pregnant. Sadly, baby's heartbeat stopped at 11 weeks 5 days old. It was a missed miscarriage.

I couldn't feel anything more than love when I looked into his Tiny pair of eyes ... Elaine

Zayder is our best wedding anniversary gift.

During my last antenatal check up before I gave birth, my gynae told me to choose a date from 25 May onwards to admit hospital for induction as the baby would be overdue by 24 May. Therefore, I chose 26 May as it was me and my husband's first wedding anniversary and I thought it would be very significant and meaningful if we could have him born on that day as well.

Here were times when I forgot to breathe out as I was trying to bear the pain ... Lyn Quek

It was close to 3 am on April 29th when I first experienced contractions. I woke up wondering if this could be a false labour as I've read it somewhere though I was already 39 weeks and 4 days into pregnancy. Being uncertain, I took out my phone and surf the net to look for the answer. At the same time, my hubby got up (I was surprised as I didn't wake him nor was I screaming in pain) and told me to dial the hotline given by the hospital to check with the nurses. The nurse told me to keep monitoring till I experience regular contractions at 5 minutes interval.

We couldn't wait to bring our little one home and a new adventure awaits! ... Joy Lam

Being in our 30s, both my hubby and I were concerned about conceiving, but after 6 months of trying, my gynaecologist confirmed that I was pregnant after taking the test kit. It showed a faint positive line and we were mildly excited and didn't want to keep our hopes up high. We were regular with keeping up with the scheduled ultrasound appointments, and as weeks and months went by, the scans showed that the foetus was growing well and everything was normal.
