Product details

The general rule of thumb when it comes to infant pacifiers is the thinner, softer and more adaptable the nipple neck is, the better for baby's jaw and teeth development. We developed the MAM Perfect Night pacifier to reduce the risk of misaligned teeth and help babies relax. It glows in the dark too, making it particularly easy to find at night!

We worked closely with orthodontists and paediatric dentists to develop the unique and symmetrical Dento-Flex teat, proven 60% thinner and 4 times softer than other infant pacifiers. This is based on scientific reports from the OFI-institute and a clinical test conducted by the Dental University Clinic of Vienna.

Not only has another design standard been set, but global quality standards for pacifiers have been laid out, thanks to the technological innovation and medical expertise behind the MAM Perfect Night Pacifier.

The shield of our infant pacifier is curved for maximum comfort and the large air holes make it safe and gentle on baby's skin. It has an easy-to-grasp button and with its symmetric shape, it's always a perfect fit in baby's mouth. The MAM Perfect Night also comes with the MAM Skin Soft teat that's comfortable in baby's mouth. It is accepted by 94% of babies!

To make it glow in the dark, simply activate the light storing minerals in the pacifier button under a light for 30 minutes before bedtime.

Together with other MAM products, the MAM Perfect Night Baby Pacifier is scientifically-proven and developed in cooperation with the International Children Medical Research Society (ICMRS), pediatricians, developmental pedagogues and midwives. Only after the approval of our experts is a MAM innovation truly ready for baby life.

FAQs

How old should my baby be to use this product?
This glow-in-the-dark pacifier is suited for babies 6 months and above. It is important to change the pacifier size as baby grows to avoid any harmful impact on their teeth and jaw development.

How should the MAM Perfect Night pacifier be cleaned?
Before first use and at regular intervals after that, boil the pacifier in water for up to five minutes or use a steriliser. Do not leave it in the sterilising solution longer than five minutes as water may enter inside the teat. To expel it, press the pacifier teat a few times. Water that gets inside is not harmful to babies as it is completely sealed inside the teat.

Can I sterilise the MAM Perfect Night pacifier using the sterilising and carry box?
Yes. Fill the sterilising and carry box with water to the indicated level (25ml), place the pacifier inside with the teat facing down, close the box and heat in the microwave for three minutes at 750 - 1000 watt.

How often should the pacifier be replaced?
It is recommended to replace pacifiers every one to two months for hygienic purposes. However, frequency to replace pacifiers really depends on how often babies use it and how many they have. Frequently used pacifiers should be replaced earlier. The more pacifiers babies have at any one time, the longer they can use each pacifier for. Make it a habit to check pacifiers too before each use especially when baby is teething. Throw away pacifiers at the first signs of damage or weakness. For more information on usage and hygiene of MAM Pacifiers, watch this video.

Will my baby swallow the pacifier?
No. All MAM baby pacifiers comply with regulation EN1400, which is the European regulations for baby products. It is impossible for babies to swallow them.

How often should I allow my baby to suck on the pacifier on a daily basis?
Babies are unique. If they do not want to use a pacifier, there is no need to force it on them. MAM pacifiers are orthodontically designed with medical experts to support healthy teeth and jaw development.

Is this safe for my baby?
Yes. Together with other MAM products, the MAM Perfect Night pacifier is free of BPA and BPS materials.

What is BPA?
BPA or Bisphenol A is a requirement in producing plastic polycarbonate, which is used to make things like food packaging, plastic tableware, baby bottles and baby cups.

What is BPS?
BPS or Bisphenol S is a compound of BPA.

Why should I be cautious of BPA and BPS in the products I use for my baby?
Studies may not yet be complete, but researchers believe that BPA gradually breaks away from the plastic and gets into the body, resulting in health damage. As BPA in baby products are banned in Europe, all MAM products are made of BPA-free materials in accordance to Regulation (EU) No. 321/2011.
